Carlos Gonzalez, Trainer

Carlos has been an integral part of Midwest Thoroughbreds for over 10 years. Born and raised on a horse farm in Mexico, Carlos began riding horses before he could even walk. He came to the USA to follow his passion and began working with all breeds of horses before he found himself breaking Thoroughbred yearlings and prepping babies to race for various different farms. Eventually Carlos joined the Midwest team and during his 10 years here has prepped such great Champions as Work All Week, The Pizza Man and countless others that have always raced their way into the winner’s circle. Carlos is based at our Florida training facility and recently retrained both Work All Week and The Pizza Man to be two perfect gentlemen in their new pony careers.
